Rage Against the Machine

EXCERPT:
Perhaps you recognize the title of this week's missive from the 90s alternative rock band of the same name. I find it rather interesting that today's campus conservative students are the ones raging against the machine. And what machine is that? It is the Marxist academic industrial complex that has infiltrated and overtaken most of our college and university campuses today.
Back in the 60s and early 70s the rage was to "stand up to da man," the prevailing government or administrative class. My, how have times changed. Now, the young conservatives are the ones deemed as the rebellious ones . . . and for good reason.
I have been a speaker for the Young America's Foundation (YAF) for nearly a decade, and have traveled to speak on many campuses. The imbecilic products of this leftist machine on these campuses have evidenced their ignorance on many occasions. Perhaps the most famous was a young lady at Northwestern University who asked me "Do you identify as Black?" You can watch the video on YouTube. Another was more recently at St. Louis University where a Nazi swastika was drawn on my lapel. My dad fought against them in World War II in the European theater.
