Activist Scott Presler has temporarily turned his attention from making Pennsylvania a red state, to ensuring that conservative judges are elected in Wisconsin. Donate as able, and pray for him.

Repeal 17th and return to Senators selected by state legislatures to represent their respective states.

Congress could be reformed by only permitting single issue one page bills with an "enumerated power" statement. If it is not a power enumerated in the Constitution, Congress can't do it.

SCOTUS erred in stating that Texas did not have standing to sue other states in the 2020 suit. Standing is irrelevant in disputes between states. Texas as a state has a dispute against another state, it must go to SCOTUS. Texas automatically has standing in any dispute against another state or the citizens thereof.

One man’s opinion.

Many will disagree on the “How To” details, but I think all agree that “It’s Broken.”

Need to keep the discussion in motion.

We need to roll-up our sleeves.

The iron is hot.

Rome was not built in a day.

Rome, like everything, was built a stone at a time.

Might open a can of worms, but sooner or later the Constitution needs to be amended to end life long politicians like Biden that enter office as a kid and die or become inept in office.

If I were amending the Constitution...

In the US, Federal Judges are appointed by the President (political) and then confirmed (politically elected) (for life) by the Senate, who along with the House has no term limits except to be voted out.

Obviously the US needs, “We the People” to elect Federal Judges for a specific term (one 12 year term), and judges never be allowed to politic or lobby for life. If lower federal judge is elected to the Supreme Court they get 12 more years.

There is a wide range of how state judges are elected or appointed.

https://ballotpedia.org/Judicial_election_methods_by_state

Also the Senate and House should have term limits of no more the 12 years combined, and never be allowed to lobby for life.

The President should have one 6 year term, and never be allowed to politic or lobby for life.

The President represents “We the People” not a party.

The Federal Election cycle should be changed from every 2 years to every 3 years. With 3 years the House might find the time to govern instead of constantly politicking.

Terms:

House: 3 years

Senate: 6 Years (Half every 3 years)

President: 6 Years

Federal Judge: 12 Years (In 3 year increments)

Supreme Court Justice: 12 Years (In 3 year increments)

Spread the Judges’ election out over the US electorate.

“As of January 2020, there are 874 authorized Article III judgeships – 9 on the Supreme Court, 179 on the Courts of Appeals, 677 for the district courts including 10 temporary judgeships, and 9 on the United States Court of International Trade.”

If there are to many federal judgeships to elect let the Supreme Court appoint the Courts of Appeal Judges & International Trade Judges from Elected District Courts.

Remove political partisanship and lifetime appointments.

Minimum Age:

House: 40 or 45

Senate: 45 or 50

President & Federal Judges: 50 or 55

Public service in these offices should be by citizens with life experience.

Easy to see what the minimum age was set so low at the founding.

Of course all should be “Natural Born” US Citizens, that are born to parents that are both US Citizens at the time of the candidate’s birth.

Constitutional Amendments are hard to pass and be ratified by the States
